Guarantee and Liability
The Person Responsible for Payment for use of the Siphon Float System (Client) assumes liability for installation, maintenance through operation, and recovery of the Siphon Float System. Siphontech
is not liable for any part of the sediment pond, retention pond or any other planned BMP or volume retention system within the scope of the project. Siphontech guarantees the Siphon Float System to be operational
once installed correctly. If there are any problems with the system operation based upon wear and tear or manufacturing defects, replacement parts and systems will be provided by Siphontech. Damage to the system due
to on-site activities outside the control of Siphontech are the Client's responsibility and may result in additional charges for replacement parts and systems.
Installation
Siphontech may elect to install the Siphon Float System on site and recover it as a complete package but this option is based on project location and a decision made by Siphontech. If installation is
not available by Siphontech, the Client may select a Utility Contractor at their discretion to install the system per Siphontech's plan and Specifications. Installation instructions will be provided at the request by the
Client and a hard copy of the instructions will be provided with the system upon delivery to the Client. Due to the ongoing development of the system, installation instructions may be specific to the system provided. The
installation is simple and shouldn't take more than an hour for the standard Siphon Float System if the site is prepared correctly. Please contact us for further detail.
Maintenance
Maintenance of the Siphon Float System is the responsibility of the Client. Siphontech stands behind its products and guarantees all parts of the Siphon Float for system operation. If there are persisting
problems with the system, please contact us regarding these issues. The Siphon Float System should be inspected for operation weekly. Upon inspecting the system, it will be full of fluid primed for siphoning
fluid. Instructions to inspect and fill the Siphon Float System with fluid may vary and will be provided based upon the site-specific needs.
Recovery
The Siphon Float System is not for sale, it is for lease. We recover each system after use for refurbishment. Under no circumstances is a Siphontech Equipment to be disposed of or sold without explicit
permission from Siphontech. Please contact Siphontech for a shipping label and return instructions.
